Located in the historic Levy Mansion, Sundance Books and Music has been serving as Northern's Nevada's independent book and music store for more than 25 years. We offer a wide selection of new and used books, and a healthy assortment of music titles in both CD and vinyl. We also sell newspapers, magazines, stationary, journals, greeting cards, gifts, local and hand-made crafts and more. Enriching the CommunitySundance Books and Music is dedicated to supporting and enriching Northern Nevada's literary and musical landscape. Thanks to a partnership with Nevada Humanities and to support from the Nightingale Family Foundation, we regularly host readings, book signings, salons and other literary and musical events throughout the year. Supporting our Partners Sundance Bookstore is a drop off point for nonperishable donations for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. We are proud to help the mission of the FBNN as they work to end hunger in our region through direct service, advocacy, outreach and education.

Recycled Records is a secondhand retail music store that has served Reno/Sparks and Northern Nevada since 1978.Our first store opened in 1978 and was purchased in late 1980 by the current operator, Paul Doege. The Main store has been at its current location since December 2007, after being at South Virginia and Kietzke for 24 years.The University store opened in 1997, closed in 2008, and replaced a former 2nd store in Sparks(1988-1993). We now only have the one 1,920 sq ft store at Kietzke and Moana until November 2012, and our new and future location is at 822 South Virginia Street in the Midtown section of Reno.

Spectre Records is a record store located in Reno, NV. Specializing in garage, punk, indie, metal and hip hop. We carry new release and used LPs, tapes, and CDs. We also have a nice selection of zines and gig posters.

Rare, hard to find, unique and early press Japan/W.German for US CD releases. Also SACD and DVD-A discs, along with rare techno CD collections. Not everything is listed, but I do have access to over 20,000 CDs varying in genre from Classical, Jamaican Dub, Early Garage, Compilation Samplers, Soudtracks, Box Sets, Promos, LTD Editions and audiophile label releases. If I don’t have in house, Ask and I will find in sealed and cooled storage unit. I promise I will also beat the prices of anyone on EBay, Amazon, Discogs, etc. Not into selling one CD for under $10, but convince me and I’ll budge,
