Opened in 2015, Bij Klaas has a shop full of mostly new CDs and DVDs which he is buying in bulk lots. There also is a big row of 2nd vinyl, all priced 10 EUR (albums) 5 EUR (12inches & classical music) 1,50 EUR (7inches). Bands with familiair names are often priced higher, but you can find real bargains for 10 EUR as the owners have no clue of the prices of records. This shop moved early 2018 to this new location, a former Pet Shop, and it still has an occasional whiff of rabbit smell.

We opened in June this year and we are working towards being a nice asset to the people living in the south of Rotterdam because there wasn't a record store here anymore since a few years back. We sell most genres of music with a focus towards Pop/Rock and Jazz. Alongside records we also sell analog film camera's and used hi-fi.

In 1988 is Aads Platenzaak begonnen in een piepklein winkeltje op het St.-Annaplein in Tilburg. Begonnen als een hobby met het opkopen van collecties via snuffelkrantjes, groeide Aads Platenzaak uit tot een fenomeen onder Tilburgse platenkopers. Toen het winkeltje te klein werd, verhuisde Aad in 1990 naar de Telefoonstraat. Midden en eind jaren '90 beleefde Aad gouden tijden, toen de cd-verkoop op zijn piek was. Na krap twintig jaar vertrok Aad in het voorjaar van 2009 uit het centrum van Tilburg naar de huidige locatie van de winkel: Korvelseweg 208. Bij Aads Platenzaak vind je heel veel LP's, cd's en vinyl singles.

A small store with a great catalogue of about 30.000 new and second-hand records. It's a joy scrolling through the records in the sub-street level store and giving them a listen at the counter. They used to have a bargain bin, with records (read: the occasional gem) going for a euro. I don't think they're doing that any more.
