Introduction: Store originally opened in 1973 as White Wing Records in Niles, Warren, Boardman Ohio, and Hermitage,PA. 3 of 4 locations closed due to financial problems only the original Niles location remained opened. Sold in 1980 to Jeff Burke and relocated in May 1983. Specializing in deep catalog, imports, and at that time audio equipment, The Record Connection quickly became the place to go for music. Widely recognized as being the first store to sell Compact Discs in the three County area. The Record Connection is a strong supporter of Indie Record Store Day and BlackFriday RSD events. Claim to fame, Hosted The Best RSD on the planet in 2015 with The Foo Fighters. We sell new and used LPs, Compact Discs, and an assortment of cassette tapes.
