Introduction:
The shop was founded by Shaun Baskind and Kezia Eales in Joburg but relocated to Cape Town in December 2012. This migration is aptly in keeping with that of its nomadic hippie clientele. Deerhunter peddles not just used records that include CDs and vinyl across genres, it also sells clothing, furniture, toys, record players, books and more. It’s open from Monday to Saturday. Records are priced from R30and are famously willing to negotiate.
